They're not really trusting me with anything, but I think they're done interrogating me for now. He looked convinced when we were finished. Uh, yeah. I still hate playing the traitor, but at least I know I do it well. And like all traitors, they're not going to trust me until I've proven myself. Telling them all I know about what's going on -- at least what I want them to know -- is only going to get me so far. I'm out of the dungeons for sure, but they're not going to give me a dragon. It's just how it has to be.

Tyren is .... he's enjoying this. At least that's what I think. I'm going to see him more now, but from what I've seen he's enjoying this. You can tell when he's talking about the great victory he has here, and how there are only minor problems. No, you've got a lot of fucking problems. Maybe they're not as bad as they could be, but you ... well, you didn't look before you leapt. Only the Dragons know how you're going to keep this place once Keane gets here. It just...

It sounds too much like he has a plan.

I really worried about this, even if I shouldn't be. Keane has three armies now, and Noye won't hold up long against that. Even if he can save the walls. I just wish I could get his plan out of him!

I'm going to get to see you more now. Uh, and when I mean more, I mean I am actually going to get to see you. They think if you see someone from your home you'll get better, so they're going to put me in your room.

I have been considering taking part in the Autumn Pilgrimage this year. I have thought of going to see Lucre for a long time now, in fact, but now I think Jayden is old enough for the trip. I am a bit wary about the large crowds though, I must admit. It sounds as though they could get difficult to manage.

Of course, there is also my work here to be considered but I believe such a journey would be allowed, especially since with Egwene I would be able to travel there faster than most.

I think Marias is feeling better.

He talks more, these days. To me, to my family, to Arwen ... I know it has been a long time coming, but it's still a relief to see. I think Sometimes he gets distant, or closes off, but I suppose anyone would, when they've suffered what he has. I keep an eye on him to make sure he's ... well, but other than that, he seems more able to fend for himself these days.

Jayne, I think he was happy to see you last time you visited. Could you come by again soon? I think it cheers him.

Not tomorrow, though, if you wouldn't mind. I ... well, I imagine you'll likely be busy as well, but I know I will be.

I've been gettin lots of orders for watermelon for people to take home for the Festival of Leaves! Makes me feel real good. These are the best watermelons I've grown here, if I can say so myself! Nice and big and heavy, and real juicy too. Not as big as what you'd get from a farm in Hanalan, but I seem to be growin them bigger every year! Have to say, the days leadin up to the Festival's a great time for business. Maybe I can get some orders for pumpkins while people are here ...

Oh, it'll be September really soon! I know most of the pilgrims aren't going to be here for another two weeks or so, but some are smart and really plan ahead, so we still have to work at making everything really presentable ...! I just know I'll be busy for the whole month, like always ... but it's the good kind of busy! I like having pilgrims over to stay at the convent, some of them are just so interesting and I learn a lot from them. It's even nicer when we get visitors from last year or the year before. It makes me feel really good to see them, because it means that we did such a good job hosting them that they want to stay with us again!

Okay, the floors need to be swept and there's tables and shelves that need dusting, and oh, the church ...

So do these books play jokes a lot? Because honestly? Honestly? Someone from Dragonsdamned Minae? As though my life wasn't hard enough dealing with brigands and having to suddenly worry about being a lord and getting married.

Went in to see Bry today, too, he's looking as awful as ever. Doesn't exactly boost my mood any. Didn't tell him "hey, apparently Minae is doing so fine that they're contracting random mercenaries to fuck up our borders evern more," wasn't sure he'd want to hear that.
