Are you all right?

Wow, there's a lot of snow out there!

It started this morning, and I thought that it would have stopped by now, because it's after dark, but it just keeps falling! The nightmen haven't even been able to go around lighting the streetlamps, so it's almost pitch black out there, except for the windows where people have their fires inside ...

It's almost up to our window! I really hope it's stopped by morning, or I don't know how we're going to go around back to get more firewood. We're definitely going to run out by then, and I don't want Brian to go out in this and clear it. That would be just awful to him ... especially, um, he hasn't been doing very well or really been himself, lately. It was bad enough asking him to do it when we had a little bit, last week.

I guess I'll just go to bed soon ... it's impossible to get any work done when it's so dark, and we really shouldn't burn the fires bright enough to do anything by, not when we're going to run out of wood soon. I'm really not that tired, though.

I can't help but ... fear.

Something may go wrong. It is a long way to transport someone so ... volatile. Especially when half the men I have present are utterly incompetant. If I thought there was less risk involved, I would simply leave her here, in Keirnan.

... but that is hardly an option. She must be close enough to monitor, and yet far enough, from anyone, that she is of no risk. She must not speak, nor be allowed access to anything dangerous, and -- most importantly, no pens. No paper.

She cannot be left in Keirnan. She must be transported to the North.

This ... all makes me very nervous.

She is

Is the prisoner secure and prepared for departure tomorrow morning?

I highly doubt I will have the time in the morning to bid my final farewells, and thus, I shall do so here.

Thank you, again, for the farewell supper this evening. The meal was well prepared, and the conversation was very satisfactory. I will miss all of your company, and I hope that we may maintain the connections that we have formed during this time. It has been a very enjoyable time spent here, if it lingered longer than it perhaps should have.

It's over. I know I'm still in trouble when we get back, but...we're going home. After almost three years we're finally going home.

Once again I must express my regret that I was unable to come to Nallen this past autumn, I would have loved to see you again. I trust things are still going well for you in Emeron? I apologize that it's taken me this long to write to you.
